I must admit that gardening is not my passion. As a person with the motto ” I am the sea and nobody owns me”, it is almost nearly impossible for me to have a healthy attachment with plants.
Gardening is a very repetitive act. A little bit boring for me and I will also bound to what I grow.
Have you ever heard the story of The Little Prince? He left his dear rose behind because she’s too demanding. That’s a perfect way to describe what I feel towards plants.
I like..artificial plants. They’re easy to maintain. LOLZ
Thanks to my dear plants-fanatic-family, now there is ray of hope for this sea-person to break her boundaries. I forgot what they had done in details, but the result was they get me interested in plants and gardening.
For example, as an amateur photographer, now I find a great deal of enjoyment in photographing plants. This is great start, isn’t it?
These are unique flowers captured at West Java island. I think they’re really amazing…
A very unique plant
Under the blue sky
Pink to the fullest
As white as snow
I didn’t know their names!
Come to think of it, I don’t even know what plants are in my garden! -__-
I guess this gardening thing will need a lot of work and motivation *sigh*. Food is one of my greatest motivation. Maybe I should start from that point. How about trying vegetable gardening? I can plant spinach and learn so many things from the process…
*How the story goes, I’ll write just as soon as I can!*
Do you like gardening? Why?
